Today, Jönköping County's climate prize was awarded during the climate conference at Elmia. Axjo Group and Drumster claimed the climate prize with the following motivation: "The 2022 climate prize is awarded to Axjo Plastic, which with its circular system for collection and recycling of cable drums shows that it is possible to think innovatively and create new solutions that reduce its own and its customers' climate impact. By developing a "return system" for cable drums, they can be collected, reused, repaired and circulated several times over, which is resource efficient and reduces the need for new manufacturing - fully in line with the county's vision "Climate-smart plus energy county". This solution can make a difference and spread across Sweden."
