What are your day- to-day tasks?
Operations, Sales, Project Management

Where were you prior to joining Axjo America?
Prior to joining Axjo, I worked in Furniture Manufacturing.

What do you like most about your current role and working at Axjo America?
The relationships that I get to build with our co-workers is the most rewarding.  It allows me to see people grow personally and professionally.  Secondly, having the opportunity to work in multiple departments throughout Axjo, ensures I get to grow and learn new skills daily.  Lastly, working with customers to provide a solution from Axjo.

What is one personal accomplishment you would like to achieve before the end of the year?
Improving my overall personal health.

 

Tiffany Howard,
Project Manager (tiffany.howard@axjo.com)

How long have you been at Axjo America?
I have been a project manager at Axjo America for two months now. 

What are your day- to-day tasks?
My main tasks include adjusting schedules and targets on projects, serve as a point of contact for teammates and clients to uphold business initiatives, and communicate with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals.

Where were you prior to joining Axjo America?
I previously served in the United States Navy for fourteen years and then became a Claims Specialist with the Federal Government for six years. 

What do you like most about your current role and working at Axjo America?
What I like about my current role is the constant learning; Working in the manufacturing business brings a wide variety of projects that push me to learn and develop processes that will result in a favorable outcome for my company.

What is one personal accomplishment you would like to achieve before the end of the year?
One goal I would like to accomplish over the next year in my private life is to learn how to renovate my own flooring as a DIY project. 

 

Teresa Chapman,

How long have you been at Axjo America?
I have been employed at Axjo America for a little over 3 months.

What are your day- to-day tasks?
I am the Customer Relation Manager at Axjo America. I am responsible for all direct customer communications regarding the status of their orders, order entry, providing resolutions for claim and expedite requests, maintaining customer profiles, etc. But most importantly, my goal daily is to provide exceptional service to each of our customers!

Where were you prior to joining Axjo America?
Prior to joining Axjo America, I worked for a local manufacturing company that produces shopping carts and retail solutions. I have also spent many years in textile, automotive and distribution industries.

What do you like most about your current role and working at Axjo America?
I truly enjoy challenges. I love learning new systems and how they are structured, defining processes and being involved with overall improvements.

What is one personal accomplishment you would like to achieve before the end of the year?
A personal accomplishment that I would like to achieve prior to year end is to purchase a second home, to be used as a vacation/rental property.

 

Leah Carlton,
Warehouse Manager (leah.carlton@axjo.com)

How long have you been at Axjo America?
I have been part of the team for 2,5 months.

What are your day- to-day tasks?
Day to day includes scheduling all transportation inbound and outbound. Managing warehouse and material handlers. Monitoring inventory. Receiving inbound material. Ensure precise loading and unloading of all trucks, while maintaining safety.

Where were you prior to joining Axjo America?
I worked for the largest shopping cart manufacturer in the world, as a traffic analyst in shipping dept.

What do you like most about your current role and working at Axjo America?
I like being on operations end of Axjo, being in the warehouse, and assisting my team in what is needed to deliver orders to our customers safely and effectively. The thing I like most about Axjo is the support I get from all coworkers worldwide! They are always available when I need support! Love my role at Axjo America and I am proud to say I am part of this team!

What is one personal accomplishment you would like to achieve before the end of the year?
Take a family trip with my husband and son.
