Department in focus: Accounting and Finance
What's actually happening at the finance department? We've talked to Sofie and Håkan from our finance department and got answers to both how to avoid the expiration of money and whether it is coffee or tea that applies to an economist.

What is your job and how long have you worked for Axjo?
I am employed as an accounting economist at the companies Axjo America Inc., Reelab AB, ERS Sverige AB, ERS Group AB, and Key Sweden AB. I joined Axjo in February 2017.
What’s the best thing about your job and your workplace?
The variety of work, being constantly presented with new challenges, and the fact that Axjo is a company that invests and endeavours to continually move forward.

1. Book or movie? Book, if only I had had time to read.
2. Coffee or tea? Coffee – it’s something you can’t live without.
3. Skiing holiday or holiday in the sun? A combination of both would be the best!

What is your job and how long have you worked for Axjo?
A couple of days ago, it was 13 years since I started working at Axjo, but it feels like three! Time flies when you are having fun! I am esponsible for ensuring that correct financial reports are presented to the management, board, banks and other bodies. As it is important that the company doesn’t run out of money, I sometimes need to press the pause button when it comes to purchasing. I am also responsible for allocating total costs to each individual product, allowing us to measure the profitability of everything we sell.
What’s the best thing about your job and your workplace?
Axjo is a company that is in a constant state of development and with a lot of energy, which is very exciting. Things are happening all the time! A feeling of friendship and good colleagues definitely improve job satisfaction!
